A leading company in the furniture and decorative industry is seeking to hire a
Store keeper for its daily work activities in order to achieve its desired mission
main role of this position is to take proper care and maintenance of stock
including, receiving, storing, issuing and managing inventory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
and shelve Products
· Update the Bin card
to ensure that physical stock and the Bin card are matching
· Ensure adequate
record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and
maintain inventory control.
Ensure that all
products are issued only with the requisitions.
Products are properly arranged in the selves.
· Prepare and share
out a daily report on stocks in terms of Receipts, issues and closing balance.
Carry out Perpetual
stock counts to provide accountability.
Perform any other
duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Stores Officer Requirements and Qualifications.
Knowledge of proper
bookkeeping and inventory management
standard concepts and best practices in Stores environment
with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
and verbal communication skills
Skills to operate
common office equipment
Knowledge of Tally
ERP 9 will be an added advantage
Minimum of a
Diploma in any Business related courses or its equivalent
3 years of
experience in storekeeping and inventory control.
